Organized Religion doesn't promote peace. They promote hate. Hatred of anything and anyone that is different. They then wrap it up and disguise it as love, just as their religious texts teach them to do. Thus were born the words "Hate the sin, not the sinner!" And "We just don't want you to burn in hell!"
"This is a kindness," they say, as they deepthroat you with their beliefs, and THEIR way, leaving you choking on them. That's their version of kindness.
Now there are religious people who aren't like that. Some of them stand up to the hatred, and treat others with the respect they deserve. They've ignored all the negative propaganda of their religious leaders. But that propaganda is still there, and until it's gone their religion cannot be considered one of 'peace' and 'kindness'. Not unless we changed the meaning of the fucking word and nobody told me.
