I think you are extrapolating way too much. I'm talking about a really specific statement "Not all Muslims are Terrorists" That is said all the time and is a dishonest argument. That's what I'm talking about.
What's that knucklehead who posts here from Australia whose every thread was about the evils of Islam? Al Stoner, right? Pretty sure he's shopped the "all Muslims" trope on more than one occasion. Times like that, "not all" needed to be said.
Having said that, it'd be nice if more politicians were more nuanced ... but demagoguery gets votes, unfortunately.
