Nope, you're still a theist. Any belief in any god of any kind makes you a theist. You could worship a tree in your back yard and be a theist.
I believe in the magic Cherry Monster God who is believed to steal cherries whenever you pick them. I pray every time I get a cherry that he doesn't steal it. It always works. Because he has never once stole any of the ones I get.
