My point in sharing this wasn't to make a one-to-one comparison of the situations but to share an interesting anecdote I saw on my facebook page (the first post I saw about Ahmed was literally immediately prior to this post in my news feed), but if you're trying to look at the one as an analogy for the other I would say that the teacher and the TSA agent would be playing similar roles and that yes it would be a not-great analogy.

If I had to stamp this with a fallacy, I'd probably call the comparison of the teacher to the TSA agent something of a strawman.
