The situation is actually pretty simple and clear cut. People fleeing a warzone. A warzone, we in the West have helped to create by acting on our fundamental ignorance of the region, it's inherent conflicts and blind support for one side we didn't even know the first thing about. It was pure Neanderthal style. Ugha, Ugha, Assad bad, rebels good. Let's bomb.
And here we are. Faced with the fallout. A human fallout that shouldn't be demonized into being ISIL's 5th collumn. They're just people, having lost everything, looking for a save place to survive.
