He's not right at all. Yes, we *can* assume that a teenage Muslim was not recruited by ISIS; y'know why? Because hardly any American teenage Muslims are. It's a fraction of a fraction of a percent; these are the numbers we are talking about here. Pick any muslim (old or young) in America, and it's overwhelmingly likely that they have nothing to do with terrorism.
If we went around not assuming the best about people, the world would be an awful place. Those kids hanging out by the bus stop? Probably part of a gang! That old guy who's walking near to a school? Probably a pedophile!
This is not how we should treat people. Innocent until proven guilty, and that concept should apply to social interactions, not just our judicial system.
