The extreme discussion on the subject almost brings me to tears.

I have learned that homosexuality is not a mental illness.

I have seen how much violence is directed at the LGBT community just for being different.

I haven't heard much (if any) points that refute that homosexuality is partly biological and could therefor be construed as done by God.

which means once again the christers have to face one of three options.

1) God is cruel

2) God makes mistakes and then expects the christers to correct them

3) homophobic men wrote the Bible.

which hammer do you choose?

If all sexual sin is as important then there would be a lot people beaten and killed with the words "fornicator" screamed at them. I'm not seeing the statistics on that one.

It comes down to the fear and hatred of all things different or not understood. Which is very much a human trait not the trait of a god.

there are a lot of really sad/horrible stories that tell over and over again that the adherents to the chistian doctrine causes pain, lose, suffering, and death.

I'm not one to use insults but today I will make an exception.

I think the christers like it this way.

Cause enough pain and suffering or kill enough disinters and may be they (those that are different) will shut up about their individuality.

That seems to be the christian way.
