This isn't for my own entertainment. This is just to see how many Xtians who state homosexuality is a sin will squirm and wriggle in a desperate attempt to justify the fact that EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF YOU has done something on this list.

And for the undeniably more-likely-to-be-honest atheists, I included a poll so you can tally up your number of sins and tell us just how sinful you are! It's fun for the whole forum family. ^_^

My final count: 34.

Oh man, I am truly damned. That "letting your hair become unkempt" is enough to drop me 4 levels of hell on that account alone.

I think you forgot to add onto the 0 option of the poll: None, because sin doesn't exist Wink.

Rather a NSS observation. We wouldn't need a savior if we were without sin.

And the point of this thread is....? Homsexuality is a sin, and so is everything else you've listed.

You know.... a lot of the stuff on that list is really stupid. God must be a real dickhead.

I contest that Min answered honestly, and that he just liked that particular choice descriptionTongue
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I think that's from the Dr. Seuss Bible.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
