Stop it, you're cheapening the notion of god with your persistence in this. Let me advance an alternative scenario. You don't actually know what the words proof, evidence, or detect entail...you don't know what science can currently measure, or even that god can't be measured with current technology. You don;t know that others have been offered proof, nor do you have any to offer yourself, nor are you aware of the contents of what others might offer -as- proof...nor are you likely to agree that it -is- proof if those contents do not sit squarely with your beliefs. We're not discussing science, or measurement, or current technology, nor are we discussing proof or evidence. We aren't even discussing god, proper. We are discussing a belief you have, about an event...and if you could just fucking contain yourself....that would be a sturdy position. I -also- have experiences about which I maintain a truth value that cannot be demonstrated. For example, I cooked the best curry that anyone has ever eaten, just last night. I can't prove this to you, I have no evidence, there are others who would attest to this fact, but they have no more proof or evidence than I.......but I maintain the truth of the proposition wholeheartedly.
