That's irrelevant, when the majority of people believe in a religion, those few who do not are a religious minority by default as they do not practice the views of the religious majority and as that religious majority continues to identify this same group of people as a group and treats them as a minority most often by spreading propaganda to the effect that all atheists are "evil" (which is plainly religious discrimination against a small minority).

Abaris is an atheist.  I'm an atheist.  Hitler met with Christians and talked a Christian and a pagan game.  He may possibly have been atheist.  He's motives were political and he might say anything about religion for politic ends.   I don't know what he was. And neither can anyone else know with certainty what he was. Nazis were Christian, deist, and perhaps atheist.  Who knows?  But they weren't all Christian.  Christianity wasn't the point.  German purity was.
