Well, folks having looked up the definition of Troll I'm not exactly out to disrupt you guys.
I read some of the comments from the extreme right; both Muslim & Christian and thought a bit of light relief might be welcomed. Thor spotted it by seeing my religious position of 'none' & I half thought that most of you would be aware that I was kidding around.
I became a Zen Buddhist in 83 in Okinawa. I was there learning and teaching martial arts after a training stint of 12 months in central China in a Shaolin temple. As you know, zen is just a philosophy of living in the moment. Anyway, it has become a fundamental part of my training. It is not a religion & has no belief in a deity. For me, it's just 'living in the zone' as much as possible.
Fundamentalism has got to be one of the most dangerous elements since Jesus played centre forward for Nazareth and some of the christian websites are unbelievable. Same goes for the Talliwallies.
I find that getting angry with them is a waste of time. They either get all sweet and disarming (which is a pisser) or they get violent & you can slap them. But what you can't do is reason with them as you guys well know.
I fully empathise with some of the tirades some of you guys have levelled at visiting 'fundies?' I've tried many times to break through to them, believing that there MUST be some trace of reason somewhere deep within their psyche, but no, not a bloody atom of sense. They seem to have about two brain cell each, and they're not on speaking terms !
Anyway, I'd like to stay around and wait for the next of god's sunbeams to alight onto this forum - I'm willing to do penance with the exception of ...................THE COMFY CHAIR!!!!! Please god allah, santa, the tooth fairy .....not that!!!
