Here's a question for you Lrh9: Seeing as you are so interested in communal living have you taken any steps to realise that dream for yourself, such as moving to a retreat in your own country or moving to a socialist/communist nation? I bet there is a clear case of dissonance between what you preach and the active measures you take in your life. Do you even take active measures in local charities? Public vegetable gardens? Homestays? There are plenty of communal things you could have been doing all this time, yet some reason I bet you've done nothing of the sort.
Perhaps you just enjoy playing victim and threatening everyone else's lifestyle with an uprising? I can tell you that most people in your country just don't want communal living. The largest of the liberal populous is more like a Center-right social minimum ideology, they want fair wages, healthcare, education, law and order and equal opportunity and have no interest in owning the means of production other than some individual tendencies to own their own business, Not some proto-hippy socialism and resource allocation such as your "democratic socialists" espouse.
They can be considered social-pragmatists, that makes you anit-pragmatic, which fits entirely with your refusal to accept the vast number of failed or turned totalitarian social schemes as evidence of socialism flawed in any way. We could call it your own personal No true Scotsman.
