I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner...  here's one:  (like Rhonda said, even one is too many)  ...to pray or not to pray?

Mat 6:7-8  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Luke 18:1&7 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint ...and shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Was that supposed to be a contradiction?

The first is about repeating Lord or God over and over in prayer, and praying over and over for the same thing. The second is a reference to how oft one should pray, not for specific things but in order to keep God and his direction close to your heart that you won't falter so readily.
