The problem is that even if time travel happened, on a biological level it wouldn't be like back to the future.
In a situation where something in the past has changed, even if your grandparents still meet, and even if they give birth to your parents and they still meet, they'd all have to meet at a very specific time and your sperm would still have to win the race to the egg.
If your father or grandfather masturbates at the wrong time, you're never born, if your father's balls have a temperature change that results in the right sperm not getting to the egg then you cease to exist. I think the odds would be so stacked against you surviving from any tiny change.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
