It's pretty clear if Joseph Smith came back and didn't drastically and immediately update his beliefs, the current Mormon hierarchy would excommunicate him post haste.
And since I consider LDS to be a handy little simulacrum of most all religions, I would expect Jesus (in the unlikely event he turned out to be real) to be immediately set upon by a mob of present day 'Christians' should He dare open His mouth and attempt to set anything straight.
