I'd wipe my ass with the bible, but the ink is probably toxic. Plus it's good to keep one on hand and read it once in a while so that I don't forget just how evil it is, although that's hard to do when you aren't naturally masochistic.

True, but that doesn't make you any less dumb for believing it is a good model for society, or for any modern human interrelations, much less that it contains so much as a shred of truthful historical accounts of anybody.

"Dumb" is the insistence that a hysterically ridiculous and unfalsifiable claim is the absolute truth, and when you can no longer fool yourself into believing it you go a-trolling atheist forums in search of either some affirmation from other shameless trolls, or the opportunity to call yourself a "martyr" for getting your ass handed to you.
