I think that given enough time, all of the modern religions will not exist as they do today. Just like how we can trace the origins of modern religions through various ancient ones, this will probably continue going forward. As far as the fate of religion in entirety, I think it will continue to dwindle in educated areas and will continue to grow in uneducated areas. That seems to be the trend that's been happening for a while. I don't see it fully going away, but I can see it having a much smaller impact on everyone's day-to-day lives.
