I had never heard of any one on that list before I had become an atheist. Maybe that's because there are only anglophone people on this list, and the OP somehow assumed that a spokesperson for atheism must necessarily be such. There are probably skeptics in India who have reached more people, have risked more and made more of an impact against superstition than any of these Americans and Englishmen. The incredible Sanal Edamaruku comes to mind
