Those kind of references are normal in underground anti-system artists. Che Guevara is a dual figure, he is a hero for some and a villain to others. I never cared much for him, but some of my friends like him - It's mostly a symbol against the establishment I think. If we think about it, there isn't an enormous difference on liking Che Guevara and any American president, considering most continue to allow invasions and basically "genocide" of indigenous people of the middle east and other places.
