Guys, if you thought rape and murder were ok would you publicly broadcast those views?
Now I know its a difficult question so by all means take your time answering it.
Good question.
I think the answer would be no, because it isn't socially acceptable so I would hide it. The same way women who are Christians hide their abortions, because they believe they have sinned. Being a Christian would not prevent a rapist or murderer from doing either of those things, any more than it prevents Christians from getting abortions.
This means the OP is absolutely a troll or Poe, because true sociopaths hide that from the world. They don't get on internet forums and tell people about it. (Do they? Seems like there have been a few cases of people coming onto reddit and places like that and bragging about wanting to kill people right before they do it). Scary world, seriously.
But I think most true sociopaths become adept at mimicking empathy, because that is what they see others do, and they want to blend in and hide. It also makes it clear that remaining a Christian isn't stopping anyone from doing things they think or know are immoral.
I've known sociopaths. They don't just mimic empathy, they wield it like a weapon. They know what you want to see, what response you expect and how to react in a way that will engineer the result they want. In a world of cattle they are its predators. Its why so many occupy positions of power, power is what rules their world. The acquisition of power, the retention of power, the use of power. Every move we make as humans is a power play whether we realize it or not. The only difference between us and sociopaths is that sociopaths lack the moral and emotional baggage to prevent them seeing and embodying this simple principle.
They use mind games, manipulation, intimidation, domination and humiliation to achieve their ends but always under the mask of piety and righteousness.
These methods are nothing if not effective.
