I think it's important to bear in mind that we get a lot of lurkers, random invisible people who stumble into these threads from Out There (scared yet?). Some of them go on to be members while most don't. Those are the ones who go away with an out of context snapshot of what this place is about. So sometimes it's useful to make clear things that people here may not need clarifying, just for the people playing at home. It's rarely personal. Now I think we've all made our positions quite clear and I don't think any of us were trying to strawman anyone, at least not intentionally, so I'm glad to see the hatchet being buried. Let it stay there, m'kay?
