Did it ever occur to you if workers had livable wages that there would be less dependency on government, not more? The real welfare queens are corporate America.
As far as family, I wouldn't push it while under the roof, if it blows up in your face you would need somewhere to go. And people can have mental health issues and belief can make that worse. Many atheists including me live in isolated areas and contact with other atheists is limited to being online. If you live in the suburbs or in a big city with transport you can actually meet other atheists, and no, not all of us are Bernie loving commies, I am, but not all atheists are.
