New years eve parties are over priced, over crowded and everyone is trying to force as much alcohol as possible down themselves to have a forced good time.
I don't usually side with Islam but in this case I think the bullshit of Islam might have saved you money, prevented you from going to a shit party, and may have even saved you from getting an STD. Also if you're going to go there and drink alcohol while chasing a girl, after living a lifestyle of not drinking for a long long period of time, it's likely you might feel like an idiot the next day, and you can look at napolon's thread on what happened at his work's christmas party as to how that can happen.
It shows how powerful pussy is that THIS is the one substantial situation you talk about that's making you try and re evaluate Islam.
