The lab got really backed up with past due work, we begged the manager to prioritize the work list, and for quite a while he refused. Finally he sent the list out, and EVERYTHING was priority 1 except for one item which was priority 6. Where do you start with that kind of managerial acumen ??
I can relate to this just because I've had managers that have not just done a bad job, but it goes to the extent where it seems as if they're trying hard to make stupid decisions on purpose.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
