I did receive additional help from someone who goes to a nearby church, but who helps people with ideas to get a job (or in my case, change careers) from a variety of beliefs. And some are secular, and he even said "You have to be comfortable in your own skin." That's true! Right now, I am working a temporary grocery job where discipline is NOT evenhanded, to say the least, and I'm making less then $8.00 I'm 33 and living at home, but there's no reason to be ashamed of that, IMO. This guy said "Don't beat yourself up", and gave me advice about surrounding myself with people who are in occupations that I'm interested in, such as computer programming.
