We eat lamb about once a week. If it were cheaper we'd eat it more often. We used to eat only Australian lamb because that was our only choice. I'm surrounded by sheep, but all the lamb was going to France. Now I can buy reasonably priced Oregon lamb and I do. When in England and the EU we eat more lamb because we like it and can afford to. This summer we'll be in Europe again, but France and especially England will be our only lamb rich destinations. The Netherlands, Germany., Austria, and The Czech Republic are pork and sausage heavy. They have good beer, coffee, and chocolate though.
A couple years ago in London we had lamb four nights out of six and it was heavenly.
When we lived in Idaho, we ate affordable and very good lamb, thanks to the local Basque population. French and Spanish Basque country might make a very tasty trip, though I'm afraid I'm misspelling Basque.
We will get to Australia eventually, and there we will eat lamb.
