I have watched every single episode of the original series.
I didn't like the long drawn out alien stories and the serious ones involving the smoking man and all of that.
I love the simple ones where they had to tackle a different monster each time, like the guy who could control fire, the guy who could control electricity, the hallucinogenic mushroom type thing.
The best fucking episodes were the pusher ones. With that guy and woman would could talk people into doing whatever they wanted.
My friend told me about these new ones, I haven't seen them yet.
I'm worried they might try too hard to make these episodes great and go for the long drawn out stories about aliens again, in favour of the simple monster of the week format.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
