The logo competition ended with the staff ultimately deciding that the current one was better than any of the entries.

See, I think this is the mentality that keeps us in stalemate. We should get away from this idea of "better than" and instead, go with "new and different"

Plus, it's not like you have to throw the old logo away. There's no possible way to get 100% of any group to agree on something like this.
We need to shoot for a solid 51% majority vote.


What would you like to see on that background? I think something that represents humanity rather than a "big bang space creation" would be excellent.

With exception to the jokes, I haven't read a single new idea on here for a logo.
