As for Portugese. If they speak slowly enough, I get a bit of the meaning. I'm a collector of revolutionary songs, and yours - Grandola - is pretty understandable to me. Again, drawing from Spanish and Latin.

That song became associated with the 1974 revolution that put the previous dictatorship away, as it was played on the radio as the signal for the military to start the whole thing.

Portugal's healthcare is pretty much on par with the UK's NHS, I think...
There may be some details that differ... some for the better, some for the worse... as you'd expect.
