Here's a chess puzzler (and no, I don't play): A novice player makes a wager than he can play 10 masters at the same time and win at least 5 of the games. The novice's only stipulation is the he gets to play white on 5 of the boards and black on the other 5.
The wager is accepted, and sure enough, the novice wins five or more games against recognized Master-level players. How did he do it?
Hint: Stalemates are disallowed. In the event of a stalemate, the Masters agree to capitulate and give the win to the novice.
