Dude, seriously, take a look at what you just wrote there.
Satan needed permission from god to do harm against someone.
I suppose you could cloud your judgment and state with the usual idiocy, "oh, god is good and god is great and god is blah blah blah."
However, the fact that such a loving god would allow such atrocities to happen to anyone means that god is the furthest thing from good.
You can reason your way out of the logic any way you see fit, so long as it means you continue to believe god is good, but in reality where the rest of us exist there is no reasoning out of the truth.
So grow the fuck up already.
