I'm rather to the right of most posters here.  I have voted for republican candidates.  But #nevertrump.  Never ever, ever.

That's good to hear. If right wing voters say things like this then it suggests that America might not go down a very dark path.

I'm hardly right wing. Being to the right of most of the members here, is moderate. Really. Libertarian or independant is a better describtion of me. Or better yet, socially left, but freedom not entitlement left, and freemarket right, but not to extreme. There are good reasons for some regulation. Wealth redistribution is not one of them. There are more quotes like this one in Megan McArdle's article at the link above. If you have any interest in reading a thoughful, factual, republican, she's a good choice. This particular article is as she says herself anecdotal. But there are many, many die hard republicans who will vote for and even donate to H. Clinton to avoid Trump.
