It is true that there are many studies that support the theory that the more religious a person is, the lower their I.Q. and vice versa. Obviously there are exceptions, such as yourself. You are obviously a very intelligent person which, I assume, is why you take a very different stance on the teachings of your faith from those with less ability to reason.
Some would say that you don't have to be 'dumb' to believe in the Bible but it helps.
