What? All religion are equally untrue but I still believe some religions are less bad than others. For example, the Easter Bunny and half of what POTUS candidates say is equally untrue but the lies about the Easter Bunny are far from as damaging.
Well they are now, but that wasn't always the case. 800 years ago, the Germanic and Slavic tribes sacrificed humans for their fertility rites (as is still evidenced by the sacre du printemps by Stravinsky), and animals such as the easter bunny served as important fertility symbols in these societies. The belief in the easter bunny has merely become more benign over the centuries.
