The concept of "talking white" is bollocks though. Are you talking about white people from London, from Sydney, from New York, The Deep South Hicks? There's countless "white" dialects of English and many sound even more slang-y and "broken" than AAVE.
Calling out that blacks commit more crime out of context is a farce though. Everyone always wants to say "oh those blacks, so much crime, black-on-black crime!" nobody ever asks an important question, seriously, "why?". Nobody wants to address the cuts to funding of inner city schools, the school-to-prison pipeline, the bullshit and biased "war on drugs", the lack of support for grass-roots movements to help people break the cycle of crime and violence. Instead we'd rather send white police in, with no emotional attachment to the neighbourhood, to "deal" with the problem. At that point someone typically ends up dead who doesn't need to be.
Police are there to stop and investigate crime. They're not social workers.
The answer to all crime being "tougher policing" is very much addressing the symptom and not the cause. I'm not saying there should be absolutely no police presence whatsoever in certain neighbourhoods or that criminals shouldn't be punished, but it's not preventing crime in the first place.
In most cases, crime comes from somewhere. It's not productive to just say "oh there's perpetual crime among [X race of people]... More police!" on it's own. If people give a shit about lowering the crime rate and improving the living standards of these "communities", they'll support community projects, school funding, promoting black entrepreneurship etc. These are the preventative measures and they benefit everyone, instead of just "sending the riot police in" to make white people feel safer.
