To me saying "Jewish is a race" is like saying "Hispanic", "Irish" or "Italian" is a race. These are ethnicities or nationalities and cultures, not races.
There is some evidence that Jews may be a race.
There's genetic evidence in some groups that they have been seperated for some generations from other Europeans, which would make them as genetically distinct from other Europeans as something like Swedish people are from French people. They still look European and can neatly fit into being "white", maybe with some trace Middle Eastern ancestry, which some people consider white anyway. It's a tentative claim to say they're PoC. It's like me saying I'm suddenly "mixed race" because I'm like 1/8 North African, it's silly.
