No shade, if I suddenly had a kid now, that would be me.
And of course there are more family-oriented restaurants which are more suitable for young families, nothing wrong with that. I just think people should know what they're getting before they go.
Um no, sorry. Of course there are different classes and different prices, and nobody should claim there shouldn't be differences. But it is absolute bullshit to claim that the middle class or even the working poor should not have a life outside of work, or should not have something comparable that the rich have.
No sorry, even the poor who have kids want alone time and want adult places to go to get a break. To say they should not have a life outside their work because of their pay scale is fucking bullshit.
"If you cant afford kids" is fucking classism. If the legality of having kids is class based then ban anyone making below a certain amount from having them, or remove their balls or uterus by force. If not, then the issue isn't pay scale, the issue is lack of livable wages.
Humans are not machines and should not be treated as objects, or numbers on a page for the rich to use like numbers on a spreadsheet.
People in this thread are having serious problems taking things to hyperbole. This is nuanced, it's not "you can't have a life if you don't have kids" outright, most parents still manage it just fine. However having kids will, to some degree, affect what you can afford and how often you can afford it, and how often you can go out, and where you can go that's child-appropriate. If you don't want those impacts on your life, kids aren't for you.
