Oh, and I should point out that there's a valid reason behind the hostility you faced. We have several Creationist posters who like to come here and "just ask questions", playing a sort of coy game in which they engage in passive-aggressive tactics and denial of their actual motives for questioning, trying to "bait" us into saying something they can leap upon and build a straw-man argument out of. It happens almost weekly that we get a new example of this type of personality (often, it's the same people "making a sock", by pretending to be a new user, which is why people here said talking "like a sock of a previously perma-banned user" was a bad idea). You appear to be genuinely new and to not share that desire to try to verbally manipulate us. That being the case, I'd ask the other users here to go more gently with you.
Hope you like it here.

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
