That's not the question you should be asking.  The question you should be asking is: "why has god contacted me and brahma contacted them?"

Exactly!!  Every believer of every god is quite sure that they have received messages from that god, and theirs is the right one!  
And if you had been born in India, you can be sure that it was Brahma that would contact you - geography, family, and all that.

Nearly 8 billion people on this planet, about 2 billion are xtian, but they are divided into little warring sects that think only their group is going to heaven. They believe that more than the 6 billion OTHERS alive on this planet today (plus every human that has already died who didn't worship Jeebus) is going to fry forever in hell because they didn't belong to the right group.  And this doesn't bother them one bit because it's gawd's will and THEY HAVE IT RIGHT.  That mindset is sociopathic tribal evil incarnate.
