Four chairs seems reasonable, given whomever I hire must have a full book with them. My instructor always asks us if we plan on being the person behind the chair who is broke or rich. Meaning if you're broke, you have time to sit around because you have no clients. If you're rich, you always have a client in your chair. I plan on being the rich one, not the broke one.
My student loans are my motivation for this.
