A lot of jobs work by people paying other people to do things that they don't want to do.
It works in a situation where people value the money more than their time spend doing the thing they don't want to do.
Of course, I understand what you're saying but my point is in work situations noone can force someone to work, that'd be slavery. If someone agrees to work then what's the harm? Of course everybody would prefer to sit home and eat ice-cream whilst getting money for work they didn't do.. But hey..
