Definitely stoned, though!
Omg, rocket! That's horrible! Do you mind me asking you to provide details?
Nah, no worries. I had stage 1 Seminoma (testicular cancer) in 2008, while incarcerated and still fighting my case. In 2010, I was declared cancer-free. The success rate is very high when caught that early. Had one of my "boys" removed (through the abdomen, since they have to get all the tubes and such, clear up to the prostate, to ensure they get all the cancerous area and where it begins to spread). Because my lymphatic system appeared swollen, the doctors weren't able to tell if the cancer had metastasized, and so I was treated as if it had, just in case. Prisons aren't exactly known for top-notch healthcare, and during the radiation treatments and chemical cocktails I wasn't even told the composition of, they went a little overboard and I got some damage to my liver and kidneys. I can't take much NSAID pain medicine, and alcohol is verboten except for an occasional beer or glass of wine.
Medical marijuana is illegal in Missouri, but my doctor prescribes me Dronabinol, which is synthetic THC pills, to help with ongoing problems with nausea and other side effects of the damage.
The amazing thing is that, despite the radiation and chemotherapy, and despite the doctors telling me it would be extremely unlikely that I'd ever have children again, my Beloved and I decided to try anyway, and managed to conceive on my first night home. Guess I'd been saving up! hehe
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
