The ability to take honest critique and profit from it is the hallmark of an adult. Asking for criticism and then arguing with the critic is asinine.
I almost hope you sell a few million copies, so that when the critics rip you a new ass, and they will, you will go nuts trying to bat down every review that doesn't laud your "genius". Alas, it won't happen, unless you self-publish and buy the whole lot.
