Shia & Sunna: Why I don't believe

The widespread believe in the mainstream mind, is that Islam is one thing; a "central" ideology that is believed to be true by 1 & a half Billion.
But the truth cannot be any close to this, than water's closeness to acid.

Only ignorant people believe that, since everyone having the least bit of interest and knowledge know differently. Islam has at least as many schisms as christianity. Doesn't make it more believable in my book, but I try to look at who's involved in certain actions. Something the Western politicians would be well advised to do also before considering any intervention. In fact, it's like they're dropping their pants on purpose at any given opportunity, since even a layman like me can tell the difference between the different groups in different regions. Which makes the Western approach seem even stupider as it is on it's surface.
