So? People are wrong about what they believe and don't believe so often it's trivial. That doesn't mean they really believe the things they don't believe that are really true; or really don't believe the things that are really false. The word for someone who doesn't believe something that is really true isn't 'believer', it's 'wrong'.
There's no such thing as a 'wrong belief' because the universe is not objective, only collective based on the contribution of subjective experience. So what ever you do in life whether it's intimate such as how you conduct yourself towards others in a loving relationship, or how you simply treat yourself, there is no 'wrong' approach, just different ones, because no matter what, you had to go through that experience to learn something from it. There was something to gain by going through it. So everything has value. Everything no matter what has substance depending on the individual.
Quote:And on top of everything else, belief isn't a choice. People believe the things they're convinced are true and don't believe the things they're convinced aren't sufficiently supported. You can't suddenly start believing in Santa Clause or that Andrew Jackson was a great man just because you choose to.
Then you've ignored everything i've so far said. Lets put god out of the equation and call it the universe for your own sake. The universe is exists through all particles, fields, waves etc. To be a wave, a particle, the universe lives through the experience of those things. The universe exists in all moments of time, past, present and future. And the universe exists throughout everywhere of all that is and can be.
So, what ever you believe and don't believe, is a product of the universe - not some fabrication. No matter how you experience anything, that's the universe experiencing itself in a very small part through you. Whether it's your imagination or a physical experience, it's still a real experience. I would think we can agree with all of this so far. So, since there is no such such as true absence, everything that can possibly be, exists in some form, some how, some where. The only limitation of the universe is what you apply. For through imagination, you can think of what ever you want, and it's real for you in your mind. Since the universe is imagining itself through your mind. It's literally real in your mind. Otherwise you are saying the universe is making something that isnt of itself, but everything you do is in some form of the universe, for the universe cant make something that's not of a property of it.
What ever technology humanity invents in the future, it can only be something that is of a property, a quality that already exists in some way - only the technology is a different expression of it. So since you can imagine, that is a property that has always existed in some form in the universe. Nothing is new, only the varied expression of the same thing. Which logic would then dictate that consciousness has always existed.
Try getting out of that one
