I've always wondered how it feels like to be drunk.
Alcohol is a central nervous system suppressant, so the effect has been known to vary. As a general case, most people agree that they feel a bit "dumber" and more "sure" of themselves. The latter is why people drink, especially at parties, when talking to strangers can be quite intimidating. Some people feel "happy" or think they feel happy with alcohol, others become wildly emotional.
For the most part, you drink until you feel "buzzed" or gain a slight euphoria. Drink too much and you'll become drunk, aberrant, vomit, etc,. Some people drown their memory centers into oblivion using alcohol.
Personally, I prefer pot. Can't over do it (the worst you can do is either smoke yourself to sleep or be uncomfortably high for a short bit) and little hang over.
Some people (what I used to do) will drink and drink like fishes during parties, and then when one is nursing a horrible stomach ache, etc, they smoke marijuana to obtain the anti-nausea benefits, allowing even "my stomach is gonna hurl chunks" cases to progress through the night by transforming it into the "Stomach aches. Smoke pot. Wait hour or sleep hour. Wake up. Repeat until all alcohol is gone."
Hope this explains enough.
