No. It's irrational. There is no evidence at all for an afterlife and if you search for it you'll probably end up deeply in some deepak shit, I don't advise that. So if one believes in an afterlife they've either been deeply missinformed or they want for an afterlife to exist so they believe in it just because they want to with no evidence backing them up. But if evidence shows up for an afterlife, sure, I'll believe an afterlife exists in that case.
