Even if we could be 100% certain of guilty 100% of the time, I would still be against castration and the death penalty. Those are both counted as cruel and unusual in my book.

Chemical castration:

"Chemical castration is castration via drugs, whether to reduce libido and sexual activity, to treat cancer, or otherwise. Unlike surgical castration, where the gonads are removed through an incision in the body, chemical castration does not remove organs, nor is it a form of sterilization."

Still seems cruel and unusual to me. I will never think it's a good idea. Seems morally wrong to me. My mother taught me very few things that I still believe and one of them is that two wrongs don't make a right.
