I hate the implication that is sometimes made that we are all basically psycopaths, and need religion to keep us leashed. Some people really believe that about themselves.

When someone tells you that, make a mental note of it in your future dealings with them because they are probably a psychopath and will screw you over in some way not covered by the morality they have been taught.
