I'm fine with that, like I said, I don't own any guns.
In fact, if I was an insurance company, I'd love that law being a requirement, seeing how statistically it's far less riskier than auto insurance.

That's kinda the point isn't it? Automobiles aren't designed to kill, actually it's quite the opposite, they are designed to adhere to strict safety regulations, yet they kill four times as many people as the thing that's actually designed to kill.
So use a little of that deductive reasoning and tell me which is the bigger problem?

And btw, your logic is like 10 people dying from poison and 40 people dying from applesauce, yet you want to focus on the poison, since applesauce isn't meant to kill...
